After being gifted 31162 Cute Bunny, I knew I wanted to design a dinosaur alternate build from the set. The set included no teeth or claws, which ruled out any predators, and the soft curves seemed to lend themselves to a Sauropod or an Ornithopod. I chose to tackle one of my favorite dinosaurs, the Parasaurolophus.
My goal was to make as large of a model as possible with the limited parts from the set. The dinosaur itself uses 254 parts, over two thirds of the 326 included parts. A few of the leftover parts can be used to build some plants for the dinosaur to eat.
The lower arms and most of the legs are posable, but it requires the stand for balance, as the thin limbs cannot support its own weight.

This set doesn't include any pieces with studs on both sides, making it difficult to round out the dinosaur's primarily 1-stud wide head. The solution? Asymmetry. The head uses two 1x1x2/3 bricks with a single stud on the side, each facing a different direction. When the rounded plates are added to each side, this internal asymmetry is covered up!
