Mountainhead

Inspiration:

This is a commissioned ecreation of the album artwork for "Mountainhead" by British rock band Everything Everything. This surreal artwork was designed by Jonny Costello.

About the model:

This was a fun exercise in building a shape from layered wedge plates and tiles. I also enjoyed getting to use so much vibrant coral, a delightfully bright color from LEGO’s color palette.

The model is built on a white 32x32 baseplate, which happens to be the same size as a 10" vinyl record. For ease of display, the model can be set on the included LEGO vinyl stand.
