Optimus Prime Action Figure

Inspiration:

I have been eyeing the Optimus Prime Brickheadz since they were released, primarily for the stunning prints used across both robot and vehicle modes. This model utilizes those prints to replicate the 2D animated G1 Optimus Prime seen in the TV show and other media.

About the Build:

I started this model as a pure alternative build of that set but quickly discovered how limiting it was to have hardly any hinge joints. I likely could have finished something, but it wouldn't have movable as an action figure. Adding in 31145 Red Dragon provides both more red parts as well as an abundance of much-needed hinges. As a result, the model has posable knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, and wrists.
