I was commissioned to build this BMW 3-Series at a fairly small scale, only 5 studs wide.
The small scale was a fun challenge. Just like my other cars, I connected parts at odd angles, but had to fit the connections into a smaller package. I got to make good use of recent parts, such as wedge tiles in clear for the side windows, and plenty of complex SNOT (Studs Not On Top) on the inside to hold everything in place.
Built February-March 2025
Build time: A few months

The front and rear bumpers are made from flex tubing, one of the only parts that is 'acceptable' to cut, as LEGO instructed builders to cut it in the instructions for 21003 Space Needle. It is bent to capture the angled front bumper and left straight for the back bumper in lieu of a 5L bar.
