Inspiration:
The owner of a Jazz club reached out to me interested in a LEGO saxophone that could pair with 21334 Jazz Quartet. I had done a larger saxophone previously, but this even smaller one proved to be a fun challenge!
About the Build:
This tiny yet intricate saxophone build uses a number of strange pearl gold parts, from roller skates to binoculars, to Exo-Force robot arms. It's stand even uses a battle droid body and minifigure handlebars!
The client also wanted a trumpet stand, so I designed that using an ice cream cone. I wanted to be able to photograph it with a trumpet, so I designed a trumpet of my own, based on the one I had designed for my marching band figurines.
