Gundam

Inspiration:

I wanted to see if it would be possible to build a robot using only the parts from 76918 McLaren Solus GT & McLaren F1 LM, which lacked typical robot joints. While the model started as a generic robot, partially inspired by 31124 Super Robot, it quickly became a Gundam, taking cues from the RX-78-2 Gundam, from the Mobile Suit Gundam television series.

About the Build:

The model has posable ankles, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and neck. The figure is accessorized with a blaster and shield that can be mounted on either the forearm or the back.
