Prequel-era Ship Collection
Inspiration:
I initially had the idea to capture the curve of the Naboo starfighter with a banana, but I didn't want to do a Naboo hangar in risk of it being too close to ForlornEmpire's Hangar from his Iron Builder round. I opted instead to do a collection of 3 iconic Star Wars ships from the prequel era.
About the Builds:
I started with the Naboo Starfighter. It is fairly straightforward, however the engine pods and the bananas themselves are not connected to the body of the spacecraft but rather directly to the stand.
I built the Slave 1 second, which uses a minifigure visor to round out the front of the cockpit.
I ended with the Clone Wars Y-Wing, which features teeth connected to minifigure hands which sit on top, filling all of the gaps in the design.
